As a family-owned and operated business in the heart of Fairfield, Connecticut, Mo’s Wine & Spirits is the largest wine store in town. We have a tremendous selection of wines from around the world, one of the best collections of beer in the state, and every type of liquor you can imagine, and if we don’t carry what you are looking for, we will special order it for you.
We pride ourselves on our friendly, knowledgeable, non-intimidating staff in addition to our great prices plus we know how to throw a mean party and can restock any wine cellar, so come visit us or purchase online.

About the Contributors
Mark Abrahamson has worked in the food and wine business his entire career. He ran the Grand Central Oyster Bar & Restaurant for most of the ‘90’s and started their extensive, award winning wine program. In the late ‘90’s, he opened Ocean 211 Restaurant in Stamford, CT and won the coveted “Award of Excellence” from Wine Spectator Magazine due to its extensive wine list.
Now co-owner of Mo’s Wine & Spirits in Fairfield, CT since 2003, Mark continues to pursue his love and knowledge of wine by sharing stories, insight and facts through the Mo’s Wine blog. With over 2000 wine selections from all over the world featured at Mo’s Wine & Spirits, Mark has a lot to talk about!
Sharon Kardos has been in different facets of the restaurant business for over 20 years. Sharon is going into her 7th year of managing wine and liquor stores where past experience included stints at Al’s Warehouse, Stamford Wine, and now Mo’s Wine & Spirits store. Sharon is very passionate about her favorite hobby that has turned into a career, the art and joy of experiencing wine!
Creative Concepts Consultants is Mo’s Wine & Spirits’ Public Relations and Social Media advisors. Through Creative Concepts, you will hear from Brenda Friedrich, David Borzo, Cecilia Hughes and Ross Hammond who will support this blog by researching and reporting on trends and other cool tidbits from the wine industry. Liz Glomb is the blog’s technical administrator.
